Description
Includes a c1970s Star Dahlia Polyester Double Knit quilt top measuring 68 x 97 inches. Lots of funky and fun fabrics in this quilt top. It is hand pieced. It is in good condition with a few small spots and several seams coming undone. Along with a circa 1960s improved 9 patch measuring 64 x 78 inches. It is hand pieced. And in poor condition with several small spots split seams and a few holes. Both textiles are just quilt tops with no batting, backing, or quilting. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
