Festival Quilt by Bobbie Aug, and was machine quilted by Janet Spencer. It measures 47.5×57.5″. It is in very good condition. There is a sleeve on the back for hanging. The quilt is on the cover and page 44 of “String Quilts with Style”, co-authored by Bobbie Aug. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
