Shadow Boxes Quilt by Bobbie Aug . 1998, measures 50×56.5″. The quilt was made using c189o quilt blocks and combined with reproduction fabrics and hand quilted by Bobbie. It is in very good condition. There is a sleeve on the back for hanging, with information. It can be found on page 40 of “Vertical Quilts with Style” co-authored by Bobbie Aug. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
