Description
Mixed Group of Vintage and Antique Ethnic Textiles. The group includes 1 handmade fragment from Laos featuring pink and green acetate, yellow cotton and white cotton, all pieced and embellished with a mix of embroidery, applique, and tambour in swirled and geometric patterns. It measures 19” long by 3” wide and it is backed in a black cotton. In fair condition with some color bleeding and a few spots. 1 vintage Uzbek tribal band made of cotton canvas featuring 4 square colorful cross stitch panels in the umbrella, spirit shelf, tigers ear, and tigers skin patterns. It measures 27” long by 3.5” wide and is in good condition. 1 vintage loomed silk scarf featuring an ivory base color with horizontal stripes at either end in shades of tan, blue, yellow, and purple with 5 1/4” fringe. It measures 132.5” long by 23.5” wide. It is in fair condition with 3 holes. 1 antique linen handkerchief featuring a double border of drawn thread worked borders with corner medallions. It measures 11.5” by 11.5” and is in good/fair condition with overall toning which should soak out. 1 vintage pillow from Japan featuring a novelty printed cotton with images of a child flying on the back of a hawk, samurai helmets, Japanese buildings, and fans on a beige and blue checkered ground. The pillow is also accented with hand knotted yellow poly thread tassels at each corner and the center of the pillow. It measures 13” by 13” and is in fair condition with losses to 1 of the corner tassels and a few small holes in the pillow. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
