Description
Early 20th Century Black Silk Tunic/Dress. This antique sleeveless black silk tunic dress features a simple rectangular silhouette with a 3” wide burnt orange floral metallic and silk thread band at the top creating an angular shoulder line with 3 pin tucked vertical lines at the center front and back of the neck and a slight boat neckline. It appears that the dress had a waist tie at one time giving it a late teens early 20’s feel . Laying flat it measures 26.5” wide by 53” long, the shoulders measure 20” wide. It is in good/fair condition with 1-3 small homes, 2 split seams ( 1 near the under arm, and at the shoulder. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
