Description
Vintage c1940 Turkish Tulu Rug. This vintage c1940 hand woven Turkish Tulu or long haired rug features a cotton warp and a wool weft. The body of the rug is a dark brown with a center square motif in ivory and 2 horizontal bands on either end (1 ivory, 1 medium brown) and cotton fringe. It measures 64” long by 46” wide and is in good/fair condition with quite a bit of missing fringe. It appears that the rug may have been washed at some point as it no longer lays completely flat and is slightly warped. Please see the photos. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
