Group of Silver and Marcasite Brooches-Cameos and More. The group includes 1 vintage shell cameo brooch/pendant set in 800 silver and peppered with faceted marcasites. It features a cupid in a chariot being pulled by 2 goats and has a hinged bail at the back set east to west. It measures 1.5” wide by 1.28” high and weighs .442 ounces. It is in good condition and in need of polishing. 1 vintage shell cameo brooch/pendant of a woman in profile prong set in an 800 silver frame peppered with faceted marcasites and a scalloped outer edge. The piece measures 1.41” high by 1.10” wide and weighs .225 ounces. It is in good/fair condition with the cameo becoming loose and rattling in its frame which has caused flea bites and chips along the outer edge, the carving can be reset by a knowledgeable professional. 1 pair of shell cameo earrings featuring the profile of a woman facing opposite directions set in sterling frames peppered with faceted marcasites. They have posts with hinged lever backs and measure .75” high by .62” wide and weigh .267 ounces. They are in good condition and in need of polishing. As well as 1 vintage art deco sterling, onyx, and marcasite rectangular initials brooch by Grobe & Yasner featuring the initials VMY and classic deco designs. It measures 1.71” wide by 1” high and weighs .449 ounces. It is in good condition with age related wear to the back of the brooch. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
