2 Antique 19th Century Textile Swatch Books-Silks and Cottons. The antique textile swatchbooks includes 1 self-assembled book of approximately 137 antique c1900 French Silk antique textile swatchbook with stripes and geometrics. And an antique c1920 commercial Textile Swatch Books with approximately 89 striped brushed cottons and linens stripes, ikats, and weaves in a range of colors. The books are in fair condition with split bindings and loose covers, the samples are in good condition. This Textile Swatch Books collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
