Antique 19th – 20th Century Textile Swatch Book-Paisleys, Florals, Foulards from 1890 – 1920. The antique textile swatchbook includes approximately 325 self-assembled antique fabric samples in a mix of printed paisleys, floral, and foulards in mainly wool challis, cotton and a few silks. The book indicates it is ranging from 1890-1920, but many of the Prussian Blue and Prussian Green challis prints are much earlier c1845. The book is in fair condition with a split binding, the samples are in good condition. The book is This fabric sample collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
