Vintage and Antique 19th and Ealry 20th Century Textile Swatch Books -Silks and more. Antique textile swatchbooks are self-assembled collection includes 2 sample vintage sample books with approximately 456 samples ranging from Victorian silks and textured wools and plaids. One book includes 1812 era French Silk Jacquards in florals, geometrics, stripes, leaves and more. The other has woven silks and rayons from Paris, and some wools, stripes, plaids, and textures. The books are in fair condition with both books being held together with tape. Several of the light colored silks have glue stains from being mounted. The This fabric sample collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
