Description
Antique 19th Century Red Wholecloth Quilt measuring 72×87″. Red fabric width is about 21″. It is hand pieced and hand quilted in white thread with a feather wreath in the center against a hanging diamond grid with undulating feathered vines along the borders. There is think cotton batting and a woven plaid reverse. The edge is finished with a red applied binding, by hand. In good condition with one small tear in the front. From a NY Collector.
