Description
2 Antique Quilts from about 1910. Includes a blue and shirting Chimney Sweep Quilt Top, measuring 66 x 100 inches. It is comprised of 24 squares, about 12 x 12 inches, set straight, 4 by 6, with 3.5″ blue sashing and shirting cornerstones. It is hand and machine pieced. This may have been recently made into a quilt top with old blocks. The solid blue stashing is actually a print. The quilter used the wrong side of the fabric to coordinate with the quilt blocks better. Along with a Bear Paw Quilt Tops measuring 76 x 79 inches. It is comprised of 9 blocks, 18 x 18 inches, set straight, 3 by 3, with a 5 inch shirting sashing and solid blue cornerstones, and 7 inch shirting border. It is hand and machine pieced. Both pieces are just a quilt tops with no backing, batting, or quilting and both are in good condition with a few small spots. From a Wisconsin Collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
