Description
Vintage c1930 Blue and White Basket Quilt with a very unique edge! It measures 70 x 70 inches. It is comprised of 16 basket blocks, 8.5 x 8.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with 3.25 inch blue sashing and white cornerstones. There is a one inch dogtooth inner border, and 8.5 inch blue outer border. There is an off white cotton reverse and thin cotton batting. The scalloped and point edge is finished with a white bias tape binding, applied by hand. The points are achieved by folding the bias tape. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. It is in good condition with just small discolorations and spots. There is a sleeve on the back for hanging. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
