Description
Antique c1900 Log Cabin Wool Quilt measuring 74×82″. Comprised of 120 blocks, 5.5×5.5″, set straight, 10 by 12, with a 2.5″ red wool inner border, and 3.5″ blue wool outer border. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a woven plaid reverse. The edge is finished with an applied black fabric binding. The log cabin blocks are made up of many wool challis, delaines, and suitings. The quilter could not make up her mind whether she wanted a Streak of Lighting or a Sunshine and Shadows lay out, the quilt has a little bit of bother! In fair condition with many fabrics deteriorating. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
